There's this girl.. she stole my heart. She calls me Mommy.
Just before Nova's first birthday, I started researching the benefits of wooden toys, creativity, and open-ended play. I knew that that this was what I wanted for her. When I saw the price tags on a lot of these items, I knew that fitting these wondrous toys into our budget was not a possibility. So I did what anyone would do. I started to make them myself.

As we outgrew items, I started selling them on online marketplaces and was amazed at just how many people started messaging me asking for custom orders.

Around that same time, I was exploring preschools for Nova and as my woodworking skills began to develop, everything fell into place, I started Knotty by Nature in mid-late 2019 to fund Nova's early childhood education.

When I created our first social media page, I was blown away by the support shown to us from other parents who like me, want the best for their children at reasonable prices. Therefore, it is of upmost importance to me to be able to offer quality, handmade toys and goods to parents at fair costs.
